I am an old school photographer at heart. Someone who loves the art of taking photos, rather than the post production manipulation that has come with the 21st century. The large majority of my photos are, therefore, relatively unadulterated beyond the odd bit of cropping or mild exposure adjustment. Where adjustments are beyond this I will say so.

Perhaps my photos could be improved with increased knowledge of the tools of photoshop or lightroom - and I appreciate those that can use them to great effect - but to be honest - I'd much rather be out and snapping than staring at a screen all day!

Its Jan 2014 - Till now, when I have taken photos I have normally gone out to purely do just that, take many photos in one go. I would go out for the day and normally with my big DSLR and would usually get some pretty reasonable shots. However, I have started a 365 mission and its proving challenging. Its proving harder to get consistently good shots - especially when my mind is on work or other thing. Plus, given my commute I often only have a pocket camera on me much of the time.
However I can already feel the mission changing the way i see things. Its been 6 days and most of my photos are rubbish but maybe the pictures and subjects will improve. I hope so.
