Wednesday 23 May 2012: Churchyard debate
I took the opportunity to take a sunny churchyard photo. The churchyard is a pleasant place to be in summer. It is a closed churchyard and it is allowed to run semi wild in places so as to encourage wild flowers and to make it aesthetically pleasing. There are areas of mown grass and the graves themselves are not allowed to disappear under the undergrowth. This policy has drawn the wrath of some of the villagers who feel it should all be mown lawns and neat and tidy beds. I know what I prefer. What do you think?
