I am NOT a photographer. I have a small camera that fits into my handbag, which Scharwenka gave me for my birthday a few years ago. I never process my pictures, partly because I don't have time, partly because one of the things I like about photos is that they show things as they are, partly because I am artistically talentless (my worst subject at school after PE), but mostly because I don't know how to keep the info on them and then they have to get moderated, which is a pain. I haven't a clue what photo lingo means - I COULD learn, but I'd rather spend more time playing my viola, doing mathematics or snuggling up with the felines!
