Wednesday 22 May 2013: Goodbye To All That #2
I started my occasional series yesterday, documenting our school building before it is demolished in the summer. I hadn't planned to do a second today but the cherry trees on the main drive are pretty special and, having broken up for half term today, I didn't want to risk the blossom being gone on my return. The oldies amongst us asked if they could be moved to the new school but apparently cherries have a limited life as far as trees go so the plan is to plant some new ones. There are parts of the site I won't be sorry to see go, but I don't want to be there when the cherries are bulldozed!
