I really struggle to find a way to define myself so here goes...

I've done a bit of science and a bit of history. I've worked in hospitals, libraries, labs and archives. I've picked strawberries as well as tomatoes and I've run a floral warehouse. I've volunteered with local charities and I've even helped one of them out by cutting down trees.

Mostly though, I spend my time these days being a wife and a mum. That's pretty much what I do, but it's not who I am. I think you could get a better idea of that from my blips than from anything I could write here.

I've been daft about photography for a while, but I only really started to explore it a couple of years ago. So far it's been an adventure. Not every day has been easy, not every day has been good...

but that's life and that's what I want my journal to record.
