Welcome to my first blip project. I stumbled upon this site and instantly fell in love with the idea. What an incredible concept!

ABOUT ME:

photographer, dreamer, conscious artist, vegetarian, philosopher, eternal student, tree hugger, activist, hippie, and most important of all ... daddy.

MY PROJECT IDEA:

My idea and plan for this space is to attempt to creatively document life with my amazing 3 year old son Zayden by adding a new photo each day.

The hardest part for me is not a new photo each day; it's deciding which single image to post each day. Being the son of a photographer my little Z has finally grown accustomed to having some sort of camera pointed at him most every day (although occasionally he does try to run and hide when he sees daddy with a camera). :)

LOW TECH FUN:

I guess I enjoy challenges. So as a kind of visual challenge to myself I am adding the criteria that I will only use an inexpensive (less than $100) ultra compact pocket camera or a cell phone camera to create the images on this site.

This is actually quite counterintuitive for me since I'm usually using large pro cameras with various lenses and "doo-dads" to create my images.

I think this will be a lot of fun and confirm my belief that quality photographic images really have very little to do with the equipment used but instead, the vision, passion and "mind's eye" of the photographer.

I'm looking forward to this project and warmly welcome all comments and ideas from fellow "blippers".
