Thursday 18 March 2010: Lucky Toad!

On the path through the birchwood by the house - Mr C nearly stood on this fine looking chap this morning.
He was a bit chilled but warmed up and moved off later. (Toad not Mr C).
We measured him at 3.5 inches. (There's another photo to prove it but I don't know how to do the link to other photos yet!).
I've never seen such a green toad. Is he a different make to the usual brown ones or do they change colour like frogs?

3. I love frogs as you might be aware of... :-) Nice shot! The frogs I've been training taking pictures of have changed colors, so I guess the answer is yes.
