About Camera-Phone Kitsch

After a long absence, I return... from South Korea. I mean I'm posting pictures again, and I'm in Korea. I haven't returned from Korea. Not yet.

I was born in 1980. I've long been a nerd; I can entertain myself with almost any electronic device. Unless otherwise noted, all photos from January 2010 to the present were captured with my iPhone 3GS. Before that, I posted pics from a Nokia 8801 -- the camera was not even a megapixel, but what a beautiful phone it was! Glass and stainless steel... warm to the touch... ahhh...

Because I'm a wannabe photographer, I have several film cameras: a Holga 120 S (Medium format), a Cmeha Smena 8M (Made in USSR; currently out of order), a Lomographic ActionSampler, a Kodak Instamatic 104 (hard-to-find 126 film), and a Minolta SR-T 101 (currently on loan to my brother in the U.S.). One day, I'll actually blip a photo from one of those film cameras, although I guess I'd have to change the name of my blip collection...
