Sunday 26 December 2010: The Big Daddy Icicle

This one's been growing bigger and bigger at our back door for several days now. It has started to thaw today so it probably won't be around for much longer!!
Not much of a photo but I wanted to record this as I've never seen anything like it before, having said that we've had several nights of the lowest temperatures ever recorded here, so who knows.
Some say it's the extremes we're going to experience due to global warming, others say the weather goes round in cycles. Your thoughts??
