I've taken photographs on and off for many years, and for the past couple of years I have been carrying my camera round with me in my bag, which means that I always have it with me when the opportunity for a photo arises.

I like quirky pictures, interesting shapes and patterns, and birds. It is challenging to take a picture every day, but I'm finding it a good way to try and push my boundaries a little by thinking about new and different subjects.

I work in Marketing for an academic publishing company based in Farnham, Surrey.
