Friday 5 November 2010: Fully Alive, Wildly in Love

Backblipped on November 13, 2010. Entries for October 23 and October 30 also backblipped at the same time.

It's nearly two weeks into November, and this is my first journal entry of the month. Can you imagine that? My very first blip was on July 24, and I didn't miss a single day of posting for over 60 days straight. In September I missed a single day. In October I missed about half the days. Now, here we are in November, this is my first entry of the month, and I have no idea when I will post again. But, please don't think for a second that I'm complaining. My life is busy and fun and filled to the brim with love, and I frequently say, "I'm the happiest woman I know." With 2010 being the year I turned 50 AND found the love of my life, my other favorite phrase these days is "It's never too late to live happily ever after."

That said, it won't surprise you that I LOVE this photo because of the wonderful memories it evokes and the joy it shows. (It is for the same reasons that I love this prior blip.) This was taken a week ago, and my sweetheart and I were all dressed up for a very special evening out. It started with a romantic and delicious dinner at a restaurant overlooking the ocean. (That's where this photo was taken.) Then we attended a production of opera music, a first for both of us. The evening was pure magic from start to finish, and I think this photo once again captures our endless delight in being together.

Those of you who have followed my blips know that I'm wildly in love with this amazing man. For the first time in my life, I truly understand the depth of love expressed by A.A. Milne through Winnie the Pooh: If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.
