Wednesday 20 June 2007: A Lone Sentinel on the Mighty Mississippi

I shot this from the Stone Arch Bridge in downtown Minneapolis - the remnants of a rail bridge pier I presume.

I find it painfully ironic that the city of Minneapolis can't keep the trees that they plant alive, yet these ones seem to be growing directly out of the brick.
