(insert word, letter, symbol)-Generation

My ipod shuffle sits on top of my pink mini-planner screaming, "Pick me!" I have lately been downloading new songs into it through Winamp since iTunes does not work on my laptop for an unknown reason. I love the color it's in and though I did contemplate whether I should get a nano or a shuffle...I decided to get a shuffle.

What generation exactly are we?
I remember my teacher naming off all the generation from then until now. Of course, the X-Generation and the Y-Generation. Until someone smartly shouted out, "The Ipod Generation!" which is indeed very true.
We have, at one point, owned an ipod in our lives whether it was the 'distant' (technology-wise, everything 6 months and older is 'distant') past, the present, or the 'near' future. My first ipod was a green mini as a birthday present from friends. I still have it and it works perfectly fine, save for the extremely short battery life. Yet, Apple killed off the mini and replaced it with flashy nanos which started out as a long, rectangular gum-piece looking stick...
...and now a sleek design, more rounded and friendly to use.
I think my green mini is somewhere in the house, inside a drawer somewhere (darn, I liked the color too).

My red ipod is currently basking in its days of glory right now.
Not even suspecting that its owner is carefully looking at those sleek nanos.
But for now, it'll enjoy the spotlight.
It might be here to stay for a few weeks, months, and hopefully years.

Ipod-generation anyone?
