About AviLove
My name is Lizzie, I grew up in California, and I'm currently working my way to 30. I live my life on the road, whether that be cruising the country in my converted minivan, working seasonally in national parks, traveling abroad, volunteering via work-exchange, or whatever else that keeps me seeing the world.
My fiercest passion is birds. I love to learn about them and watch them and photograph them. (Photography is my excuse to pay even more attention to them than I already do.) I also love butterflies, wildflowers, whales, stars, ferns, geysers, lizards; any and all gems of the natural world. I travel in the hopes that I might see as much of this beautiful planet as I possibly can.
Currently I am volunteering on an organic vegetable farm in Humboldt County, in far-northern California. I plan to be here until at least July 2012.
I don't always blip, at least not every day. Some weeks are easier than others to keep up. My primary goals as a Blipper are to (1) teach others about what I am learning, (2) learn from others about how to be a better photographer, and (3) connect with like-spirited people that I would otherwise never get to know. I have tremendous affection for this community, and I strive to be a part of it as much as possible.
