Thursday 20 August 2009: Choose irony
Today was a day of almost zero blipping opportunities. The weather was truly foul here in Edinburgh and I was busy all lunchtime.
Then on the way home I got stuck in a huge tailback on the M8 caused, as I subsequently discovered, by a five-car pile up. Facing the line of tail lights ahead of me sneaking into the distance, it did however give me the opportunity to blip this green grafitti that's recently appeared on footpaths over the motorway in the past couple of weeks.
I suspect the irony would probably be lost on the graffittist that without oil, he wouldn't have been able to use spray paint to get his message across.
