I am very pleased that you are continuing with your photography and finding an outlet for it's expression. You need and deserve an audience. And I need some more of your photo tips! And besides, how can your creativity be recognized and appreciated without an outlet?

I understand your absence and your return. I don't really understand Flickr, however. It seems unwieldy and impersonal. But I haven't been there. Hey, maybe I'll just have to link to your photos from time to time!

Looking forward to another trip to NZ, and I'm bringing a camera or two!

Re. other photography sites:

As you probably know, the cost of upgrading to Flickr Pro is reasonable ($25) and gives a capacity for unlimited downloads, sorting into sets etc. I've been using it for over a year now. You can also avail of personalised 'Moo' cards (100 for $14).

Another site to check out is Shutterchance. You can display up to 30 images for free, and keep changing them as much as you wish. Here's my gallery: CAVEART
