This morning was a series of almosts.

I almost did not go to the lake.

I almost got sideswiped by a truck on the road - literally an angel's breath away from my car.

I almost did not Blip this one. Can you guess which of the images from today was my original first choice?

I almost decided to play hooky today but thought the better of it.

I almost did the dishes.

Which shot would you have Blipped? This one? I chose this one because of how unique it seemed to me from others. My challenge with going back to the same frontage so often is to find uniqueness in the shots. The sunrises are never the same day to day which helps. But finding a different shot or angle or third element is often the main challenge. Vertical shots of a sunrise have almost always eluded me. This one made me quite happy!

technical - minor adjustment to straighten horizon. Minor added contrast. The cloud cover was that dense and there was that window of clear by the water - how amazing to watch!
