I'm a Music teacher living in Melvaig, near Gairloch on the North West coast of Scotland. I moved here 16 years ago from Edinburgh, and will always bless the decision I made to move. I don't live alone - my life is shared with Dimairt the dog, who is frequently to be found in my photographs.
Now that I have completed my first year of taking part in this amazing site, I can look back on my photos and feel that I have improved over the year. I have enjoyed (mostly!) my daily search for a photo, and I have certainly enjoyed the contact with all these people from different places and different lives.
Living in such a remote place makes you appreciate Blipfoto even more. It can sometimes be easy to forget that there is a big world out there!
