Monday 6 February 2012: Waitangi Day
Not a bad day for a day off work to celebrate the signing of our country's founding document, the Treaty of Waitangi (no thanks to auto-correct, I got the spelling as I intended eventually!)
Having submitted the first assessment of my law professionals course last night, I had a guilt-free day to:
Read other stuff
Go for a walk in training for the City to Surf (after agreeing to join a lady at work in walking the 12km I find that the post-earthquake course is just over 15km!)
Take photos and try out my new iThing, a device which gets photos from the camera to the iPad. If you're seeing this, it worked!
The downside of blipping from iPad is having to use the app, which iPhone-sized with several inches of blank space around the edge and a tiny keyboard, which I have now had quite enough of...! At least I can now go to Safari and browse your blips biggish :-)
