Looking a bit ruff!

Animals. You've got to love them. Cute, funny, cuddly animals.

We recently compiled a list of ten of the best (strangest, funny and cute) cat photos on Blipfoto... So, to even up the balance, we thought we'd let the dog lovers in on the act too. (We can't let cats get all the limelight, can we...) The 2012 Dog Photographer of the Year competition is now open.

Among other prizes, the winners of The Kennel Club's photography competition will be exhibited at Crufts 2013.
