Ever wondered why the burger you get from McDonald's never looks quite as appealing as the one you see in the adverts?

Well, McDonald's marketing boss for Canada offers a peek behind the scenes at a photo shoot for the burger giant to show us the tricks and the painstaking techniques that result in you craving a quarterpounder with cheese.

Amazingly, despite the differences in appearance, the ingredients that are used in both the product you get from behind the counter and the work of art you see in the ads are exactly the same.
