Calumet Photo of the Week - Monday 30 July 2012

Last week we announced a new partnership with global photographic retailer Calumet.

Teaming up to re-launch the Photo of the Week challenge, we will be announcing a weekly theme each Monday, along with last week's winner.

We kicked off with the theme "The Street" encouraging photographers to submit pictures from their street, aiming to capture its character, the people and its essence.

And we are pleased to announce our first winner.

This week's Challenge

This week's challenge is "Portrait".

What is a portrait? It's many things to many people. 'A creative collaboration between the artist and the subject' seems about the best definition. But we want to see your best interpretations.

It's easy to take part - just sign up to the Calumet Group on Blipfoto.

Once you have joined, just upload your new Blip as normal. Then you will be offered a choice of the groups you wish to add the entry to. Just click the relevant box. Easy.
