Calumet Photo of the Week - Monday 21st January 2013

It's Monday, so it must be Calumet Photo of the Week time...

And, as winter bites across the northern hemisphere, it's a stark, snowy landscape that takes this week's award. The stillness and cold amplified by the composition of the trees.

The picture will now be added to the Calumet Photo of the Week Hall of Fame (check out the gallery - there are some great shots), with a print of the winning photo winging its way to the winning Blipper.

For the time being, at least, we are doing away with the changing weekly themes. Now we will have no theme. We just want to see your very best shots taken over the week (give or take a little leeway for excellence!)

It makes it far harder for us to chose, but hopefully more accessible for you to enter... Let's see how it goes.
