hello

i am an engineering student who loves what she studies, but since my schedule is filled with math and science, i sometimes regret the lack of room for electives. my attempts to regain some sanity and balance mostly involve giving up my spare time to some hobbies. the balance is getting better, but the sanity is pretty much a lost cause... oh well.

along with parliamentary debate and music, photography is one of those hobbies. blazar is responsible for converting me to the dark side, but blipfoto kept me there. i'm fascinated by the way some of the photos on this site look (you know, the ones on the rated page, or the ones that take your breath away at first sight). thank you for the inspiration and motivation.

one day, i would like to be able to generate such an incredible impact with art. since i started taking photographs a year ago, i've gained some experience at my school newsletter. i love to learn and to listen to different ways of doing things, so constructive criticism would be very, very much appreciated. tips are always better than superlatives in my mind (although the superlatives are great, too!)
