Sunday 11 May 2008 : Early morning!
Saw this first thing this morning!
I took dozens of pictures and wondered whether to put this up instead. This seems clearer and more detailed but I think I like the link better. I would be interested to know which you think is the better photograph and why, so if you have time please take a look.
About 10 mins. later along comes the cat to take a look too. Seconds after I took that one the poor snail got a swipe with a paw but he survived luckily!
The cat got a telling off though and has now taken himself off in a huff!!

Several months later, the man hears another faint knock on the front door. He opens it, looks around then down and sees the snail again.
The snail says, "Hey! What was THAT all about?"
