Through the Kitchen Window

The original image is on a dull day looking out of the back of the house. The field at the bottom of the garden has just been cut for hay and there are a few flowers bravely trying to add colour.

I have been playing around trying to follow some instructions to give the effect of infra-red but not too successfully. In the end I used a few filters to end up with a mono image but still showing what lies beyond my house.

First day of rehearsals for 'Midsummer Night's Dream went well apart from no-one knowing any lines. My 'Thisby' has his arm in plaster and another key character 'kicked the sofa' last night so was at A&E! Never mind - it'll be 'alright on the night'!
