I used to live in Caithness in the north of Scotland but I moved to Inverness in August 2011. I love the big horizon visible here and when I lived in Oregon, USA I found it very frustrating not being able to see into the distance because of all the trees! I lived on the Isle of Lewis for 25 years and that is where I developed a love of being able to look in all directions and observe all the changes in the sky and weather. Observing the big picture and the finer details in the world around me have always been a source of fascination. I love to get outdoors when I can. I particularly enjoy flowers, wildlife and being by the sea.

I have now been doing blip for a year and it has been a wonderful experience that I intend to continue with as it has just become part of my everyday life. I love the fact that I am compiling a journal that can be referred to at anytime by me, my family or my friends.
