Thursday 24 May 2012: Manchester Museum of Science and Industry

A great museum. Photos show spindles on the spinning mule. A ribbon being woven. The blue thread is on the shuttle and is the weft shooting through the warp threads. The engine was moving.

The tall building on yesterdays skyline that some people have asked about is the 50 story Beetham Tower that houses the Hilton Hotel.
