Monday 8 September 2008: Ardvreck again...
Final day of the Lochinver trip today. We only did one dive, and for me it was a deep one (38.5m) which is deeper than I have been in cold water before. It meant I was concentrating a bit more on the dive and a bit less on photography... It all went very well, although to be honest in a flat calm with 20m visibility conditions were almost tropical. Still, it reassured me that I didn't suffer from narcosis too badly - basically this is a feeling like being drunk that you experience at depth. I was finding the controls on my camera more puzzling than usual though!
Anyway, after we'd hauled the boats out and packed all the kit, I stopped at Ardvreck again, having also blipped it in the dusk on the way up. I think it's so photogenic, and this afternoon it was in sunlight while the surrounding hills were shadowed by gathering clouds...
Thanks to all those who helped make this weekends trip a great one - I'll see you all in a pub or on a dive site somewhere soon!!!
