Wednesday 17 March 2010: Lucky the Peacock
After such an awful day yesterday I needed a lift.
I sho'ed him away at 7.15 am because he was up to his old tricks.........snapping at the flowers, the Lenten Rose from yesterday.
He's a determined old begger and was there again before I was back in bed with my 'brew'.
He did reward me with this display, circling and calling out (I have the back end too, not pretty)
So has my luck changed? We'll see................

I grew up close to a big country estate house in the U.K. and they had peacocks in the grounds, God there noisy buggers!

Never has a saying been more apt..`proud as a peacock`. He looks well chuffed with himself.

Full on display! It must be the season! Mind you, he can call out all day, but the chances of getting a reply are remote! Worth a few flower heads, he earned his seed today!
