Wednesday 19 June 2013: Poppy and she survived !

Woken at 7am by a violent storm , thunder , lightening and heavy rain thrashing against the shutters . On going into garden later after breakfast the storm had passed but not without flattening a lot of plants . My Potatoes were looking very sad I hope they pick themselves up . At 10 my tractor was returned in great shape the engine sounded good but it will be several days before I can cut the grass as its soaked and now waterlogged in places . At 11 I went to town for the baguette and my Wednesday massage . My blip today is of a poppy plant just outside the back doors which smiled at me as if saying look I'm still standing and looking good which indeed it is . Off out later in search of a sun lounge that MOH wants for herself so I'm tagging along as I can't work in the garden and I think I'm paying .
