Sunday 9 August 2009: Chicken

One of our hens disappeared a wee while ago and returned with 11 chicks. They are getting to teenagers and let me tell you feeding 12 is substantially more expensive than feeding the three old crocks we had gotten down to before the young ones appeared. They better start laying eggs big style.
