Friday 25 May 2012: Murray
He's a bit of an unsung hero. Just about every theatrical or musical event you go to - there he is, with his lights and his dimmer board and his obliging furriness. He doesn't ask for much and he's one of the most generous people I've ever met.
Cabaret at the pub tonight and there's Murray and his lights - Cymbeline snapped a little taste of it. I didn't have tickets either - perhaps I'll get to the repeat performance next week (if they don't sell out in about five minutes again...). Sounded impressive from the other side of the door.
(Murray's looking a bit blurry and grainy, but that's the kind of guy he is.)
