Monday 15 March 2010: Gotta Stop To Smell the Roses!
Especially when they are birthday roses from the man who promised he wouldn't get me anything! They are lovely and you will just have to put up with me! I had to post this one (b'day blip) for Carol!

Red roses for a beautiful lady!! A very happy birthday to you, may the years to come be healthy and happy and filled with love.

I thought he'd probably have something for you! Lovely, and I hope you had a great day.
Re your comment - the little window is probably just to let a bit of air into the cave, which is a sort of above-ground cellar. In most of the houses here people live on the first floor where there would be a bit more light, even in these narrow streets. Sadly, this house is empty now and needs a lot of repair.

[Thinking about exploding banana slugs. Ew, simply, ew! :) And we do grow them big here in the PNW. Again, ew!]

A very happy b'day to you! :) This is just the kind of SPs blippers should come up with more freely. Nice effect too.
Thanks for the comment today, and glad you enjoyed the glimpses of old Hyderabad. Just to add "Masha'Allah" is a term of endearment and though it has an element of respect involved, it is, in a sense personal too. To have a stranger say that is wonderful in itself but it is made more so, since, we belong to different religious faiths. The papers would have us believe that everyone is your enemy and we have the apparently educated people all around who fall into the trap as well. In the context of this and everything else around it, that little word carries much meaning.
