When I was there last month I noticed a few dressed up as the Statue of Liberty. Also came across this guy in Times Square who wanted a dollar to take his picture.

Yes, I hate it when they tell you they want money to take their pic! Please! If I want it, I take it: That's that. If you're in the public sphere and dressed like you want everyone's attention, what do you expect? I give away plenty of money in the street when I'm employed and zero when I'm not.
