About EverydayAdventure

Born and bred in New England, I've been exploring Boston, Maine, and New Hampshire with camera in hand for most of my life. I take myself and my camera to other places in the word as much as I can, and wish I could backblip photos from Ecuador, Israel, London, the Western US, Canada, and more.

I love documenting what I see, and love it when my photos show something in a new way and make people think about their surroundings a bit more.

Favorite things to photograph include mountains, wildlife, capturing light and shadow, scenes of people (especially when nobody is paying attention to the camera), my cats, dog, friends, and family, dancers, and details. Pretty much anything I can capture on film or memory card.

Though at first reluctant to take "real" photos with a digital camera and much preferring film and darkrooms, I have recently entered the world of DSLRs. So far, so good. :-)

In the 2009-2010 school year, I will be a college senior at Colby College in Maine, studying Environmental Science/Conservation Biology and juggling classes, clubs, and work... Blipping will be an occasional procrastinatey pleasure...

Update Feb 2011--I've now graduated and am living at home, interning with the Charles River Watershed association and making mozzarella. I'm going to try to update daily again!
