Funky fungi

Photographing through a sphere is not as simple as I thought it would be, plays havoc with auto focus lenses to start with. found this fungi on the lawn, spent an age trying to get it in focus, one thing I didn't realize is the sphere acts like a magnify lens which causes problems in strong sunlight by focusing the light to a tiny beam like a laser causing smoke and burning. My tripod now has a few melted spots.
