Tuesday 1 March 2011: Spring Fever
All around signs of spring are here. Oh look, a lamb! gamboling across the field in the spring sunshine! Oooh a calf snuggling up to his mum! Look at those snowdrops! Is that a baby bird I see learning to fly? How lovely!
Well, the wonder of mother nature has struck here too. I am delighted to announce the arrival of a million more sticklings. Look at this proud mama exhausted after tending to her new brood.
I look forward to helping her look after her young by scraping the escaped baby stick insects off the ceiling every morning, fishing them out of the cat food, and standing on those not lucky enough to make it to the cat food with my bare feet.
Note: Stick insect babies, free to good any home.
