Ripples

Sandside, Cumbria
The days are getting longer and there's now time both before and after work to take a photograph in daylight. This was taken on the way home, after the sun had gone down below Newton Fell, and the ripply water was reflecting light from the sunset sky.

Another busy day in work today preparing for a presentation tomorrow. After that, there's a bit of a breathing space. I'm sorry I'm behind with comments, and will start to catch up later this evening.

The number of swans on the estuary at Sandside has been declining over the last two months from a peak of 12 birds. Now there appear to be only two, one adult and one teenager.
