Wednesday 2 March 2011: Stranded star
No light at all on the beach this morning - that's what I get for being there before daybreak. It hasn't improved much yet so I think we may not see the sun today.
This starfish had been washed up and was left stranded on the beach. It may have made breakfast for some hungry gull but I believe they are very tough and difficult to digest.
A frustrating morning dealing with Bankers. We went to lodge a complaint - which was resolved - but they annoyed us both when they were impertinent enough to suggest we might like some advice on some of their services which may be of interest. An outburst in unison from us left them in no doubt that we had no interest at all unless they were increasing the interest rates on their pathetic savings accounts by huge amounts.
