Wednesday 2 March 2011: Spoilt for choice

We have decided that sunshine makes even the grottiest of places look lovely, especially when things are growing everywhere. I almost took pictures of some houses half knocked down to make the point. Had a little trip to the garden centre, which was great since it is the first time out of the house for a week. And had a very helpful assistant who went off to the store and found something that I asked about which was not on the shelves. Also had a great time looking at the tropical fish. I can see a future blip there, some of them are fantastic, almost unbelievable colours.

But for today I was drawn to all kinds of interesting patterns of bricks against the blue sky just on the street where we live. Hard to decide which to choose as I was happy with quite a few. I like this one that becomes almost abstract and has so many patterns. I really like how ordinary houses can have so much little bits of detail.
