Wednesday 2 March 2011: "This is a reading, not a book signing."
March 2, 2011 - National Read Across America Day is celebrated this year on the birthday of Theodor Geisel. Dr. Seuss was born on March 2, 1904.
On March 2, the National Education Association calls for every child to be reading in the company of a caring adult.
My coughing is better, that's about it. I still feel sickly and have a doozy of a headache. One week down, this is no fun at all.
Warm temps for part of the day, before the wind blows in the frigid ones promised. Little by little the snow heaps melt, exposing more tree limbs, sticks and lacy mouse trails and tunnels in the snow. It's really blowing a gale, the squirrels must be having some dicey tree jumps today.
