Another Central Control Room (CBR)

Today we were at Gersteinwerk Werne , a powerplant in Germany.
At our own plant we are planning a replacement of a part of the distributed control system and a reshuffeling of our Central Control Room is a part of that.

That's why a delegation of Production was curious how they did it at this power plant.
We had a warm reception and got a tour around the plant.
At our plant we have the same control system (at least the part we see in the control room) but the lower level has to be replaced within two years.

The white "smoke" you see above these kind of plants is coming from the cooling system, done by cooling towers where cooling water is atomized.
