Operaen

The Opera - literal translation.

Denmark has a history with the most famous of such houses with a little shed in the a place called Sydney, somewhere in the South. Although designed by a Dane the Sydney Opera house was seriously comprimised on the inside to such an extent that the architect refused to finish the project once it got to the inside and never returned. It was to be an acousitc master piece but the funding fathers wanted bums on seats (the paying kind).
This then, is the Danish version here in aRTy Cph. Donated by Denmarks richest man - A.P. Møller (co-founder of the company now known as Mærsk). This really is one of the most spectacular tax dodges ever, as the cost was deductable and at the rate Hr Møller was paying the government was pretty much forced to buy the thing - Thanks A.P.

Those are "water" busses you can see in the forground - typical, when you wait and wait for a bus to the opera three (yes three) arrive at once.

Note:
I've found some new plug-ins for CS4. So, I'm going through an experimental phase. Smoothing, de-noise and tone adjusting stuff. Still don't think you can beat good light and composition with a bit of skill but hey - you have to try new stuff.

For the record the original can be found in my Blipfolio here
