Copa Boy

An abstract shot in which I physically created the blur with camera movement and then played with post processing effects on the iPhone screen to achieve this effect. I find it interesting to explore the range of effects available, but still believe in the ability of the eye of the photographer to exercise his/her vision to select from the multitude of options that which is the best looking shot. Is it quicker? Yes. Is it skillful? In terms of craft-like manipulation, no. Is it an unique creation in the way of any other more or less manually created photograph (pre-set up or post- processed), yes. Is it art? Depending on the final content and its impact on the viewer, visible or suggested, possibly. My view...don't dish it.
