Thursday 3 March 2011: Oh You Pretty Things
I have the Seu Jorge version of the song in my head - (here). Very pretty.
Another day, another day full of working at German pronunciation. Went over some exercises where I had only 76% percent accuracy and tried to get over the 80%. It was a lot easier this time - with the exception of "Rathaus" which neither I nor G managed to pronounce to the satisfaction of the software. We're calling that a bug.
Other than that, went to see an interesting documentary called "In Search Of Memory" or "Auf der Suche nach dem Gedächtnis" if you'd rather. It featured a very funny neurobiologist called Eric Kandel and was all about his life and work. If it comes to a cinema near you, I'd say it was worth a look.
Today's Blip is just flowers in bloom, in the sunshine. That always makes me happy.
