Friday 4 March 2011: Flag Waving Frenzy
This weekend's Crusaders game has been transferred to Nelson due to the damage to Christchurch. On his way through Murchison this morning a kind man connected with the Crusaders team called in at our school and left flags for all our students.
Red and black day took on a broader meaning on the school verandah when the kids were lined up to go into class. It is only two primary classes pictured here - the secondary students were just as excited about them, and some were most concerned that they might miss out - but there were plenty for everyone.
It's amazing the pleasure that was generated by a box of supporters flags (I even co-opted a couple for my classroom walll).
