an amazing bird

I left early for my appointment so I would have time to stop at Coquina beach. I'm planning blip time now?? The water there is always a gorgeous Caribbean colour blue, near the Longboat Key bridge. I was delighted and surprised when the first thing I saw was a Great Blue Heron standing on the shore.

I took many photos, of course! But this one stands out to me because you do not usually see Herons in this position. It was almost like he saw something in the sky and he wanted to look at it. There is another look at him here.
