Saturday 5 March 2011: Close Encounters
A bird blip on a work day!
Only came home for breakfast and had quite a view.
First there was the picture that was going to be my blip tonight.
Puffed Up Dunnock #1, Puffed Up Dunnock #2.
Couldn't choose between the two to begin with. And then I saw the Robin pic I quickly took, and thought WOW! That's the one.
Both birds had come down to the patio doors in the kitchen to feed. The closest I have seen them in ages. I will have to try and put a small tray of food down there, I've been trying to tame the Robin since we moved in with no success.
For half an hour it was quite a bit of birding!
