Sunday 6 March 2011: The Rain is Coming
Today, spring officially came to Boston. It was 55, windy, overcast, and the birds were singing en masse. It reminded me of San Francisco - such similar weather.
In celebration, I walked up to the Prospect Hill Monument for some shots of the castle tower and part of downtown. It was a great view and I spent a few peaceful minutes up there before walking down and out through Union Square and back toward work for a short day.
It's due to start raining while I'm at work, but the weather this morning was so worth it. At least it will be spring rain instead of winter rain!
